Job Description

Electrofax Engineering Services (GH) Limited is seeking to recruit QA/QC Engineer.

Position Title: QA/QC Engineer – Transmission Line & Substation Relocation Project

Job Purpose

To establish, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan.
• Establish inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Review contractor quality procedures and method statements.
• Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and construction activities.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.
• Monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning inspections.
• Maintain quality records and documentation.
• Participate in material receiving inspections and factory acceptance tests.
• Conduct quality audits and site surveillance activities.
• Verify calibration of testing and measuring equipment.
• Prepare quality reports and performance metrics.

Qualification Requirements

• BSc in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in QA/QC for transmission line, substation, or power infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Experience in inspection, testing, and commissioning activities.

General Requirements

• Experience working on high-voltage transmission and substation projects (161kV or above preferred).
• Strong knowledge of utility standards, engineering codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and remote project locations.
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/project management software.
• Commitment to quality, safety, environmental stewardship, and ethical conduct.
• Ability to work under demanding schedules while maintaining high professional standards.
