Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating ship repair projects within a high-activity shipyard environment. The role requires managing multiple trades and contractors simultaneously while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate ship repair activities across multiple disciplines
  • Manage high-coordination operations involving mechanical, painting, steelworks, piping, and other trades
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and quality standards during vessel maintenance operations
  • Coordinate with production teams, subcontractors, and internal departments to resolve operational challenges
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where necessary
  • Prepare and submit project status reports and performance updates to senior management
  • Optimize workflows and ensure efficient allocation of manpower and resources

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Naval Architecture, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within ship repair, marine operations, offshore, or industrial sectors
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills in high-pressure operational environments
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
  • Knowledge of ship repair processes, dry dock operations, and industrial safety procedures
  • Excellent communication, planning, and decision-making abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and risk management skills
  • Professional proficiency in English is required
