Job Description

The Program Facilitator will support the delivery of Densu Associates Ghana’s programs within their assigned district(s). This role is ideal for a proactive individual with experience in facilitating community-based programs and working with entrepreneurs, young women, young people, and persons with disabilities. The Program Facilitator will work within the Program Management Team and report to the Associate Programs Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver program activities in line with approved work plans and budgets.

• Work closely with young people and program participants, recognizing them as clients.

• Collaborate and build strong partnerships with local partners, government institutions, and community stakeholders.

• Identify opportunities within the entrepreneurial ecosystem for young women and youth.

• Support the organisation and facilitation of workshops, training sessions, meetings, and community events.

• Proactively support planning and implementation of activities within region/district(s).

• Facilitate peer-mentoring activities for program participants.

• Identify and connect participants to internship and exposure opportunities.

• Conduct periodic field monitoring and follow-up visits.

• Serve as a positive role model to the young people we support.

• Represent Densu Associates professionally at regional meetings, events, and stakeholder engagements.

• Prepare and submit monthly reports, activity reports, and documentation as required.

• Ensure all activities are in compliance with the Densu Associates Safeguarding Policy.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager.

Qualification and Skills

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Development Studies, Community Development, Social Sciences, or related fields.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in district-level program coordination and implementation.

• Strong writing and communication skills are important.

• Good computer literacy and familiarity with basic digital tools.

• Flexible, proactive, and solutions oriented.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage diverse community groups.

• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• Openness to learning and a growth-oriented mindset.

• Willingness and ability to work across more than one district or municipality.

Desirable

• Experience working on gender-focused or youth engagement and entrepreneurial programs.

• Proficiency in at least one widely spoken local language relevant to the region of interest.
