Job Overview

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for coordinating purchasing activities, supporting procurement planning, and ensuring that goods, materials, and services are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively. The role also involves monitoring procurement processes, maintaining supplier information, and supporting inventory and vendor management activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor procurement activities and support the supervision of purchasing team operations.
  • Develop procurement plans and implement effective purchasing strategies.
  • Prepare lists of required supplies, materials, services, and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Compare products and suppliers to identify the most cost-effective and efficient options.
  • Review purchasing records and analyze spending patterns to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels during procurement processes.
  • Prepare and maintain purchase records, pricing information, and supplier data using spreadsheets and procurement systems.
  • Update vendor details, including locations, delivery timelines, and product information.
  • Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
  • Prepare pricing sheets, cost assessments, and procurement budget documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
