The Role: Production & Operations Leader

We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment and isn’t afraid to both lead a team AND jump in when the production floor gets busy. This isn’t a job for someone who wants to hide behind spreadsheets all day – you’ll be in the thick of it, ensuring projects move smoothly from design to delivery.

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Run the Shop Floor: Directly oversee daily production operations, jumping in to troubleshoot when machines act up or deadlines loom
• Lead by Doing: Manage our talented production team by example, not just by delegation
• Get Your Hands Dirty: Understand every piece of equipment well enough to train others and pitch in during crunch time
• Keep Clients Happy: Personally handle key client relationships and be the problem-solver when challenges arise
• Drive Growth: Help us expand into new industries like healthcare, education, and construction by creating practical strategies and making them happen
• Improve Our Systems: Find smarter ways to work that actually make sense in a busy production environment
• Protect Our Quality: Ensure every item leaving our shop meets our standards for craftsmanship

Who You Are:

• You have at least 3+ years of experience running operations in a production, printing, or creative workshop environment
• You understand creative production processes and aren’t just a “business person”
• You’re equally comfortable directing a team and rolling up your sleeves to help meet a deadline
• You solve problems quickly and creatively when things don’t go as planned
• You have the business sense to manage budgets and improve profitability
• You communicate clearly and build strong relationships with both team members and clients
• You thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly
• You have experience with digital tools but value hands-on craftsmanship
