Logistics Officer – Agrisolve

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Logistics Officer to oversee and coordinate the movement of goods, manage fleet operations, and ensure efficient supply chain execution across our operations.

This role requires strong operational discipline, cost control awareness, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation of goods and materials across designated locations
• Manage haulage schedules and ensure timely dispatch and delivery
• Track shipments and maintain accurate logistics records
• Liaise with drivers, transport partners, and warehouse teams
• Monitor fleet usage, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption
• Ensure proper documentation including waybills, delivery notes, and payment schedules
• Optimize routes to reduce costs and delivery time
• Support procurement and aggregation teams with logistics planning
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Prepare weekly logistics performance reports


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain operations
• Strong knowledge of transport coordination and warehouse processes
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Experience working in agriculture, FMCG, or distribution is an advantage
