Are you passionate about water chemistry and solving complex water quality challenges? We are
seeking a highly motivated and experienced Laboratory Technician to join our growing team in
the swimming pool construction, maintenance, and water treatment industry.
The successful candidate will serve as our technical expert in water quality management,
laboratory analysis, research, and troubleshooting. This role is ideal for a professional with a
strong chemistry background and hands-on experience in diagnosing and resolving water-related
issues.
Key Responsibilities
● Conduct laboratory testing and analysis of swimming pool and water system samples.
● Monitor and evaluate water quality parameters and recommend appropriate treatment
solutions.
● Investigate, diagnose, and resolve water quality problems, including algae growth, cloudy
water, staining, scaling, corrosion, and chemical imbalances.
● Research industry developments, treatment technologies, and best practices in water
management.
● Provide technical advice and support to clients, management, maintenance teams, and the
sales department.
● Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate laboratory records.
● Support swimming pool construction and maintenance projects with expert guidance on
water chemistry and treatment requirements.
● Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Requirements
● Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering,
Environmental Science, Water Resources Management, or a related field.
● Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in water quality testing, water treatment, laboratory
operations, swimming pool maintenance, or a related field.
● Strong knowledge of water chemistry and water treatment processes.● Experience in diagnosing and resolving water quality issues.
● Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
● Strong report-writing and communication abilities.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience in the swimming pool industry.
● Professional certification in water treatment, laboratory analysis, environmental
management, or related disciplines.
● Knowledge of pool filtration systems and chemical dosing practices.
