Role Summary

The Junior Trader will support the trading team by monitoring financial markets, assisting with trade execution, conducting market analysis, and contributing to trading strategies. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to build a career in financial markets and investment trading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor local and international financial markets and economic developments.
  • Assist in executing trades in accordance with approved strategies and risk limits.
  • Conduct market research and prepare trading reports.
  • Support senior traders with market analysis and portfolio monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate trading records and documentation.
  • Track market trends, news, and economic indicators.
  • Assist in risk monitoring and compliance activities.
  • Participate in developing and improving trading strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in capital markets, trading, and investment management.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments, market analysis, and trading concepts.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
