A reputable and fast-growing Real Estate Development Company based in Accra is seeking to recruit an experienced and proactive Human Resource Officer to join its team. The successful candidate will support the organization’s human resource and administrative functions, ensuring the implementation of effective HR policies, procedures, and best practices that contribute to overall business success.
Job Summary
The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for managing key HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, personnel administration, compliance, and staff welfare. The role requires a highly organized professional with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to support a productive and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and induction programs.
- Coordinate performance management and appraisal processes.
- Handle employee relations matters and support conflict resolution initiatives.
- Monitor staff attendance, leave administration, and employee welfare programs.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain HR databases.
- Support training and development initiatives for employees.
- Assist management with workforce planning and organizational development activities.
- Provide administrative support to the HR and Management teams as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4–5 years’ relevant experience in Human Resource Management and Administration.
- Demonstrated experience in handling core HR functions and administrative responsibilities.
- Membership of a recognized HR professional body will be an added advantage.
