About the Company*
We are a garment manufacturing company specialising in the bulk production of high-quality uniforms for schools, agencies, and organisations. As part of our ongoing restructuring, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resource Manager to lead the company’s people strategy, culture transformation, and talent development initiatives to support operational excellence and business growth.
*Role Overview*
The HR Manager will oversee the full spectrum of human resource functions, including recruitment, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and strategic leader capable of aligning HR practices with the company’s transformation goals, building a motivated workforce, and fostering a positive organisational culture.
*Key Responsibilities*
*Strategic HR Leadership*
– Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and restructuring objectives.
– Support management in organizational development, succession planning, and change management initiatives.
– Advise leadership on workforce planning and employee engagement strategies.
*Talent Management & Development*
– Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of skilled employees.
– Design and implement training and capacity-building programs to enhance productivity and staff growth.
– Establish clear performance management systems to promote accountability and excellence.
*Employee Relations & Culture*
– Foster a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven work culture.
– Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures with fairness and professionalism.
*Compensation & Compliance*
– Oversee payroll administration, staff benefits, and performance-based reward systems.
– Maintain accurate HR records and ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements.
*Qualifications & Experience*
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
Minimum of 5–8 years’ progressive HR management experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or a structured SME environment.
Membership of a recognized HR professional body (e.g., CIHRM) is an advantage.
Proven experience in organizational restructuring, performance management, and employee engagement.
Excellent understanding of Ghanaian labour laws and HR best practices.
