Job Summary
Solar Taxi is seeking a proactive, organized, and people-oriented Human Resource Associate to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource function.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, staff engagement, performance tracking, and HR administration. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about people management, organizational development, and creating a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and applicant communication
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees, including orientation and documentation
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials
- Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate databases
Employee Records & HR Administration
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation in both physical and electronic formats
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee information
- Assist in preparing HR correspondence, reports, presentations, and official documents
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures
Attendance, Leave & Performance Management
- Monitor staff attendance, leave schedules, and absenteeism records
- Assist with payroll-related HR documentation and timesheet verification
- Support performance management activities including appraisal coordination and performance tracking
- Maintain accurate HR data and generate periodic HR reports for management
Employee Engagement & Relations
- Support employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and staff events
- Assist in resolving employee concerns and escalating issues where necessary
- Promote a positive workplace culture and support employee relations activities
- Support internal communication and employee feedback initiatives
Compliance & General HR Support
- Ensure compliance with labour regulations and company HR policies
- Support HR audits and documentation reviews
- Assist with training coordination and learning & development activities
- Perform any other HR and administrative duties assigned by management
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of 1–3 years’ relevant experience in Human Resources or Administration
- Knowledge of HR practices, labour laws, and employee relations principles
- Membership or part-qualification in HR professional bodies will be an added advantage
