To support our expanding workforce, we are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and proactive HR Officer to join our People & Culture team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, implementing HR initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies, and contributing to a positive employee experience across the organization.

2. Role Summary 

The HR Officer supports the execution and continuous improvement of People & Culture operations at PayAngel. This role goes beyond administrative support to ensure efficient delivery of HR processes across recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, performance management, and employee experience. 

The HR Officer will work closely with the People & Culture Manager to drive operational excellence, maintain accurate people data, support reporting and analytics, and ensure timely follow-through on key HR initiatives. This role is critical in building structured, scalable HR processes that support business growth. 

3. Key Duties and Responsibilities

HR Operations & Administration 

  • Support day-to-day HR administrative processes, including employee records, documentation, and HR requests (letters, confirmations, etc.) 
  • Coordinate HR meetings, communications, and project tracking, ensuring timely follow-through on action items 
  • Support internal HR communications and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes.

Recruitment & Onboarding 

  • Coordinate job postings, candidate tracking, interview scheduling, and communication with candidates. 
  • Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process and maintain accurate recruitment trackers. 
  • Supporting onboarding tasks for new hires, liaising with relevant teams to ensure a smooth and structured onboarding experience 

HRIS & Data Management 

  • Maintain accurate employee data on the HRIS and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.  
  • Support the management of HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, leave, etc.) within the HRIS. 
  • Generate basic HR reports and support the HR Manager with data preparation for decision-making 

Performance Management 

  • Coordinate performance review cycles, track completion, and ensure proper documentation. 
  • Provide support to employees and managers on performance processes and systems. 
  • Assist in compiling and organizing performance data for reporting 

Employee Experience & Culture 

  • Support planning and execution of employee engagement and culture initiatives. 
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries and escalate where necessary. 
  • Assist in feedback collection and tracking of engagement initiatives.

4. Competency Specification 


Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field. 
  • Required experience level 
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in HR, administration, or a related role 
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations 
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., BambooHR or similar HRIS) is an advantage 

Key Competencies/Skills (Must-haves) 

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with high attention to detail 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and basic reporting 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism 
  • Good stakeholder management and follow-up skills
