As we scale our Ghana operations, we are hiring an experienced and highly strategic Hiring
Manager to lead recruitment execution and improve our talent acquisition delivery
framework.
Role Summary
The Hiring Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment projects, from
intake and sourcing to selection, onboarding, and post-placement follow-up. This role
requires advanced experience in agency recruitment (contract and permanent staffing), a
strong grasp of sourcing strategies, stakeholder management, ATS systems, and industry
trends. The Hiring Manager will directly supervise recruiters, support client engagement,
and ensure timely, high-quality placements.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy & Delivery
- Design and implement scalable recruitment workflows, pipelines, and SLAs.
- Conduct thorough intake sessions with clients to understand talent needs, job
requirements, and organizational culture. - Develop sourcing strategies tailored to different roles, sectors, and seniority levels.
- Supervise sourcing, screening, interviewing, and shortlisting for various job
categories (white-, blue-, and grey-collar roles). - Build and maintain a robust internal talent pool and candidate database.
Client & Candidate Engagement - Serve as a point of contact for key client recruitment projects.
- Build long-term client relationships and proactively anticipate hiring needs.
- Prepare and present candidate reports, recruitment status updates, and insights to
clients. - Ensure a high-touch candidate experience from first contact to post-placement
feedback.
Technology & Tools - Oversee use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), ensuring data accuracy,
compliance, and pipeline visibility. - Implement recruitment automation tools and Boolean search best practices.
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and databases to generate qualified leads.
- Analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, source effectiveness, drop-off rates)
and provide monthly dashboards.
Team Leadership - Manage a team of recruiters and resourcers, setting targets, conducting
performance reviews, and offering ongoing coaching. - Train team members on compliance, interview techniques, and market intelligence.
- Conduct regular team stand-ups and capacity planning sessions.
Compliance & Documentation - Ensure all recruitment activities are compliant with Ghana Labour Law, data
protection policies, and client-specific requirements. - Oversee candidate background checks, reference verification, and onboarding
documentation. - Draft and standardize job descriptions and offer letters across different client roles.
Key Requirements
Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or
related field. - HR Certification (CIPM, PHR, SHRM, CHRP) is a strong advantage.
Experience - Minimum of 5–8 years in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a recruitment
agency setting. - Proven experience managing large-scale hiring campaigns across diverse industries.
- Strong familiarity with Ghana’s labor regulations and recruitment compliance
processes. - Track record of successful placements across mid- to senior-level roles.
Technical Skills - Proficient in using ATS platforms (e.g., Zoho Recruit, BreezyHR, Greenhouse).
- Strong sourcing and Boolean search skills.
- Advanced MS Excel or Google Sheets skills for tracking and reporting.
- Familiar with LinkedIn Recruiter, Google Workspace, and HRIS systems.
Soft Skills - Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional time management and ability to juggle multiple roles simultaneously.
- Ability to lead a hybrid team and drive results under tight deadlines.
Work Schedule & Structure - Hybrid Schedule:
o In-Office: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays (IA Staffing Ghana Office – Airport
Residential Area or designated hub)
o Remote: Tuesdays and Thursdays (subject to deliverables and client
meetings)
