RealInvest Ltd is the real estate strategic business unit of the Listening Bureau (LG) Group, responsible for driving the Group’s investments in real estate development, property investment, construction coordination, sales, leasing, facilities management, and property portfolio growth.

As part of the Group’s long-term growth strategy, RealInvest Ltd is seeking an accomplished and visionary executive to lead the business unit and drive sustainable commercial growth, operational excellence, and value creation across its real estate portfolio.

This is a senior executive leadership opportunity for an experienced commercial real estate professional with a proven track record in strategic leadership, property development, construction oversight, and business transformation.

Position Summary

The Head of RealInvest Ltd will provide strategic leadership and executive oversight for the Group’s real estate business, driving business expansion, investment opportunities, operational performance, and long-term profitability.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s strategic direction while overseeing the complete lifecycle of commercial real estate projects—from concept development and feasibility studies through design, planning, construction, sales, leasing, facilities management, and post-project performance evaluation.

The role requires an experienced business leader capable of identifying new investment opportunities, maximizing asset value, improving operational efficiency, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-value real estate developments.

Candidates with strong commercial construction leadership experience will have a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Development

• Develop and execute the strategic vision and business plans for RealInvest Ltd in alignment with the Group’s long-term objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new real estate investment, development, and commercial growth opportunities.
• Drive sustainable business growth, profitability, and market expansion.
• Lead the diversification and expansion of the company’s property portfolio.
• Develop innovative business models that enhance shareholder value.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging investment opportunities.
• Build strategic partnerships with investors, developers, financial institutions, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Represent the company in high-level commercial negotiations and strategic engagements.

Real Estate Development & Construction Leadership

Provide executive oversight for the entire property development lifecycle, including:

• Land acquisition
• Site evaluation and feasibility studies
• Master planning
• Architectural and engineering design coordination
• Construction planning and execution
• Project monitoring and reporting
• Budget and cost control
• Risk management
• Quality assurance
• Project commissioning
• Sales and commercialization
• Post-project performance reviews

Operations Management

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Strategic Business Unit.
• Develop systems that improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure seamless coordination between project delivery, construction, facilities management, leasing, and property management teams.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Implement operational best practices across all business functions.
• Monitor operational performance through KPIs and executive reporting.

Property & Asset Management

• Oversee property management and facilities operations across the Group’s portfolio.
• Maximize occupancy levels and rental performance.
• Develop strategies to improve asset utilization and lifecycle management.
• Ensure effective tenant relationship management.
• Drive customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Oversee maintenance programmes that preserve long-term asset value.

Financial & Commercial Management

• Develop annual business plans and operational budgets.
• Drive revenue growth and profitability across the business unit.
• Monitor project financial performance and return on investment.
• Optimize operational costs without compromising quality.
• Lead commercial negotiations for major contracts and partnerships.
• Support investment analysis, feasibility assessments, and business case development.
• Deliver strong financial performance and shareholder value.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies and statutory regulations.
• Establish effective risk management frameworks.
• Identify and mitigate strategic, operational, financial, legal, and commercial risks.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain productive relationships with:

Serve as the principal representative of RealInvest Ltd during strategic negotiations and business engagements.

• Coach and mentor departmental leaders to achieve business objectives.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a commercially astute executive with extensive experience leading complex commercial real estate developments and strategic business operations.

The ideal candidate should possess significant leadership experience overseeing the complete project lifecycle—from concept and design through planning, construction, execution, commercialization, and post-project evaluation.

A strong construction management background will be considered a significant advantage.

Qualifications

Education

• Master’s Degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

Professional Certifications (Preferred)

Membership in one or more recognized professional bodies, including:

• Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS)
• Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
• Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Facility Management Professional (FMP)
• Certified Facility Manager (CFM)

Experience

Applicants should possess:

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in commercial real estate development, property investment, construction management, facilities management, or related industries.
• At least 5 years in a senior strategic leadership or executive management role.
• Demonstrated experience leading commercial property developments from planning through execution and reporting.
• Proven success managing multidisciplinary teams and profit centres.
• Strong commercial, financial, operational, and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience driving business growth and identifying new investment opportunities.
• Experience leading strategic transformation initiatives within the real estate or construction sector.
• Construction industry leadership experience will be an added advantage.
