ROLE SUMMARY
The Fleet Dispatch Officer is responsible for coordinating daily fleet dispatch activities and monitoring fuel usage across fleet operations. The role ensures that transport requests are processed efficiently, vehicles and drivers are appropriately assigned, trips are properly documented, and fuel consumption is monitored against approved allocations and operational standards. The position supports operational efficiency, cost control, and accountability within fleet operations.
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in fleet dispatch, logistics coordination, or transport operations.
- Strong fleet dispatch and coordination skills
- Proficiency in GPS tracking and route planning systems
- Strong data management and reporting capability
- Good understanding of journey management and fleet safety practices
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to monitor multiple fleet movements simultaneously
- Strong communication and coordination skills
