Conak Technology is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Finance Officer to support its finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment. Experience with Odoo Accounting Software will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
  • Process daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and financial statements.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support payroll processing and statutory deductions where applicable.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Monitor cash flow and support treasury management activities.
  • Maintain accurate records within the organization’s accounting systems.
  • Generate financial analyses and reports to support management decision-making.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, ICA, CPA, or part qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
