Job Opportunity: Finance Manager at AgregarTech (Ghana)

As we scale our operations, we are seeking a meticulous and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations in Ghana.
The Role
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of AgregarTech Ghana. You will ensure compliance with local regulations, manage cash flow, drive budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide strategic financial insights to the senior management team to support our growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local Ghana Accounting Standards.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and develop financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
Cash Flow Management: Manage daily cash flow, optimize working capital, and oversee bank relationships.
Tax Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Ghanaian tax laws (CIT, PAYE, VAT, WHT) and liaise with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) as required.
Audit & Internal Controls: Coordinate external audits and maintain a robust internal control framework to safeguard company assets.
Financial Strategy: Provide actionable financial analysis and insights to the executive team to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
Payroll & Vendor Management: Oversee payroll processing and manage vendor relationships and accounts payable.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Certification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAG, ACCA, or CIMA) is mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of 4-7 years of progressive experience in finance, with at preferably 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in a tech or professional services firm is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ghanaian tax laws, regulatory requirements, and IFRS.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, strong leadership capabilities, and high ethical standards.
