Job Description
Our client seeks a skilled and detail-oriented Glass & Aluminum Fabricator and Installer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the precise fabrication, assembly, and installation of aluminum doors, windows, curtain walls, and glass balustrades. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality finishes for both residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and measurements accurately.
- Cut, assemble, and fit aluminum profiles to specified dimensions.
- Operate machinery such as glass cutting tables, aluminum saws, drilling machines, and edge polishing equipment.
- Fabricate and install frameless and framed glass doors, windows, and balustrades.
- Handle and install glass panels safely using appropriate lifting tools (e.g., suction lifters).
- Perform drilling, notching, and punching on aluminum profiles and glass.
- Apply sealants, weatherproofing, and finishing materials during installations.
- Carry out site visits, measurements, and installations to ensure proper fitting and alignment.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure installations meet industry standards.
- Maintain safety protocols and clean work areas and tools after use.
- Collaborate with the production supervisor and project team to ensure deadlines are met.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in glass and aluminum fabrication and installation.
- Strong knowledge of glass types (tempered, laminated, single/double glazed).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication sheets.
- Skilled in using power tools and machines related to aluminum and glass work.
- Physical strength and agility to lift and install heavy glass panels safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety regulations (PPE, glass handling, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Trade or Technical Certificate in Fabrication, Welding, or related field is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with frameless glass systems, curtain walling, and composite panels.
- Understanding of modern architectural aluminum systems.
- Familiarity with CNC-operated machinery (a plus).

NB: Apprentice Opportunity is also available for individuals who wish to up skill themselves in glass fabrication and operation. Apprentice will be paid a monthly allowance while learning. This opportunity is open for both male and female candidates.
