Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and fire safety systems.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all fire safety equipment and electrical installations operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm and detection systems.
  • Maintain emergency lighting systems and backup power supplies.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults within fire safety and protection systems.
  • Service fire suppression systems, including CO₂, FM-200, and foam-based systems.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on fire safety equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and applicable local fire safety regulations.
  • Support the commissioning of new fire safety systems at client sites.
  • Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with technicians and project teams during installations and system upgrades.
  • Respond promptly to emergency service calls and system failures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance or fire safety systems.
  • Proven knowledge of fire alarm systems, control panels, and suppression systems.
  • Experience working on industrial and commercial electrical installations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • High level of technical and analytical competence.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to emergency situations.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
