Job Description

EON  Engineering Solutions is a leading engineering and construction company, specialized in execution of Civil engineering, Marine engineering and Construction projects. 

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all electrical installation works on site.

Coordinate electrical works with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.

Review electrical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of:

          i. Lighting Systems

          ii.Power Distribution Systems

          iii.Main Switchboards (MSB)

          iv.Distribution Boards (DBs)

          v.Emergency Lighting

          vi. Fire Alarm System

          vii. Electronic Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm)

          vii. Structured Cabling / Low Current Systems

          viii. Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems

          ix. Generator Power Supply and Fuel System Interfaces

Coordinate inspections and testing activities.

Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.

Assist in material planning and coordination with the Procurement and Store Departments.

Resolve technical issues during construction.

Technical Skills

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.

Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices.

Good understanding of testing and commissioning procedures.

Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Revit MEP will be an advantage.

Must be willing to work on the construction site in Accra, Ghana.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Certification or membership in recognized professional Engineering body will be considered as an advantage.

Minimum of 5 year’s proven experience in electrical installation works on commercial, office, or high-rise building projects.

Experience in refurbishment or reconstruction projects will be considered an advantage.

Good knowledge of local and international electrical codes and standards.
