As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a highly creative, strategic, and results-driven Digital Marketing & Communications Officer to lead our digital marketing and corporate communications initiatives, strengthen our brand presence, and support business development objectives.
Position Summary
The Digital Marketing & Communications Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing integrated marketing and communication strategies that enhance Esoko’s visibility, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and support organizational growth.
The successful candidate will oversee digital campaigns, content creation, social media management, website administration, corporate communications, and brand positioning initiatives. The role requires a highly innovative professional who can combine creativity with data-driven decision-making to deliver measurable results.
Occasional travel may be required to support project activities, stakeholder engagements, events, and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Brand Management
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and business objectives.
- Plan, implement, monitor, and optimize multi-channel digital marketing campaigns.
- Drive brand awareness, audience engagement, customer acquisition, and lead-generation initiatives.
- Ensure consistency of brand messaging, visual identity, and corporate positioning across all communication platforms.
- Identify and leverage emerging digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to improve campaign performance and brand visibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative marketing initiatives that support product promotion and business growth.
Content Development & Corporate Communications
- Develop, edit, and manage engaging content for websites, blogs, newsletters, social media platforms, reports, marketing campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Create compelling communication materials that effectively showcase Esoko’s products, services, projects, partnerships, and impact stories.
- Draft and coordinate internal and external communications, including press releases, announcements, media content, and stakeholder updates.
- Coordinate the development of graphics, photography, videos, animations, and other multimedia assets.
- Ensure all content reflects the organization’s values, voice, and strategic objectives.
Social Media & Digital Platform Management
- Manage and grow Esoko’s social media presence across various digital platforms.
- Develop and implement social media content calendars and engagement strategies.
- Monitor online conversations, audience engagement, and customer inquiries while responding appropriately and professionally.
- Manage website content updates and ensure information remains accurate, relevant, and engaging.
- Support Search Engine Optimization (SEO) initiatives to improve online visibility and website traffic.
Analytics, Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor campaign performance and evaluate key digital marketing metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, conversion rates, and audience growth.
- Analyze marketing data and generate actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
- Prepare regular reports on marketing performance, audience engagement, and communication outcomes.
- Recommend improvements and optimization strategies based on performance data.
Stakeholder Engagement & Event Support
- Support communication and promotional activities related to projects, events, partnerships, product launches, and business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, media organizations, and stakeholders to achieve communication objectives.
- Assist in organizing corporate events, exhibitions, stakeholder engagements, conferences, and public relations activities.
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders through effective communication and brand representation.

Educational Requirements

- Or a related discipline
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ progressive experience in digital marketing, communications, branding, content development, or related fields.
- Experience working within technology, innovation, AgriTech, development, or social impact sectors will be highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience managing digital marketing campaigns from concept development through execution and performance evaluation.
- Previous experience working with NGOs, donor-funded projects, development organizations, or international institutions will be considered an advantage.
