Design Engineer – Retail Visual Identity (RVI)
Job Description
Do you have a keen eye for detail, technical precision, and a passion for bringing retail spaces to life? We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our Retail Visual Identity (RVI) Department, where engineering meets creativity to transform brand identities into physical spaces.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering design solutions for retail visual identity elements, including signage, structural branding, display systems, and customized retail fittings.
- Interpret branding concepts and architectural briefs into technical drawings and 3D models for fabrication and installation.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, architects, and project managers to ensure technical feasibility and structural integrity of design solutions.
- Prepare detailed design documentation including technical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Ensure designs comply with safety regulations, material standards, and installation requirements.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, fabrication, and on-site installation.
🎓 Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in an engineering design role, preferably within engineering & construction, retail design, or signage and fabrication industries.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar.
- Experience working with diverse materials (e.g., metal, acrylic, composites) and an understanding of fabrication methods.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and technical documentation.
