Job Description
DTI is looking for a Data & Insights Analyst to support the collection, management, analysis, and visualisation of project data, transforming information into actionable insights that inform decision-making, donor reporting, and organisational learning.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Support the design, deployment, and management of digital data collection tools such as KoboToolbox, ODK, or similar platforms
• Coordinate data collection activities and maintain accurate, secure, and well-organised project databases
• Conduct data cleaning, validation, quality assurance, and verification to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Participate in field monitoring visits, beneficiary verification exercises, and data quality assessments
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, measure project performance, and generate actionable insights
• Develop dashboards, charts, infographics, and data visualisations to communicate findings effectively
• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, case studies, and evidence products for management and donor reporting
• Support the planning and implementation of baseline, midline, endline, tracer, and impact studies while contributing to organisational learning and continuous improvement
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Business, Social Sciences, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• 1–2 years’ experience in data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, research, programme reporting, or knowledge management, preferably within donor-funded programmes
• Experience with digital data collection platforms such as KoboToolbox or ODK is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar data visualisation tools
• Knowledge of data cleaning, statistical analysis, database management, and survey design
• Working knowledge of SQL, SPSS, Stata, R, or Python is an advantage
• Strong analytical, report writing, communication, and presentation skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in AI-enabled productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Grammarly is an advantage
