About Rivia Clinics
Rivia Clinics is a growing multi-location, multi-speciality healthcare chain built on consistent care, shared standards, and one operating platform — RiviaOS. We provide membership-based healthcare services to companies and their employees across Accra, with plans for expansion beyond Ghana. Our mission is to deliver seamless, standardized care while empowering clinic teams to uphold excellence every day.
Through our integrated healthcare access platform, our full-service clinics deliver both virtual and in-person care across Accra — from Dzorwulu to Labone, North Kaneshie, East Legon, and beyond. Although we currently operate in Ghana, we have our sights set on other parts of the world.
About the Role
The Director of Clinic Operations is responsible for two critical outcomes: integrating new clinics into the Rivia chain and ensuring every existing clinic runs to the Rivia standard daily. This is an autonomous leadership role where operational decisions are made independently, with accountability for performance across the entire chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinic Onboarding: Lead integration of new clinics across branding, RiviaOS, fee structures, and referral protocols before launch.
- Daily Operations: Oversee chain-wide operations, making independent decisions to maintain compliance and performance.
- Compliance Management: Conduct regular audits, issue corrective actions, and ensure adherence to Rivia standards.
- RiviaOS Oversight: Guarantee proper use of RiviaOS for patient records, appointments, and care continuity — no workarounds.
- Referral Accountability: Monitor referral behaviour and enforce in-chain provider preference.
- Blueprint Ownership: Maintain and update the Rivia Clinic Blueprint as the operational standard.
- Reporting: Deliver compliance metrics to leadership and flag structural issues proactively.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Establish and monitor quality assurance frameworks across all clinics, ensuring patient safety, service consistency, and adherence to operational standards. Drive continuous improvement through audit cycles, corrective action timelines, and patient satisfaction monitoring.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years leading operations across multiple locations, ideally in healthcare or clinic environments, with proven ability to scale standards consistently.
- Autonomous decision-maker, confident in holding teams accountable and driving compliance without waiting for approval.
- Strong experience with EMR or clinic management platforms
- Highly organised, capable of managing several clinic integrations in parallel while maintaining attention to detail.
- Builds strong relationships with clinic teams while upholding non-negotiable operational standards.
- Skilled in implementing and monitoring quality assurance frameworks to ensure compliance, patient safety, and operational excellence across all clinics.
- Proactive in identifying structural issues, recommending solutions, and driving process improvements that strengthen the Rivia Clinics Blueprint.
Success Metrics
- Onboarding Compliance: ≤ 90 days from onboarding start to full compliance sign-off per new clinic.
- System Adoption: 100% of new clinics live on RiviaOS at launch.
- Operational Consistency: 100% of existing clinics with zero unresolved branding or operational deviations (quarterly).
- Referral Integrity: ≥ 90% in-chain referral rate across all clinics (monthly).
- Compliance Control: ≤ 2 critical compliance issues per clinic at the 30-day post-launch check.
- Quality Assurance: ≥ 95% audit pass rate across all clinics, with corrective actions closed within 30 days.
- Patient Safety & Satisfaction: ≥ 90% patient safety compliance score and ≥ 85% patient satisfaction rating (quarterly surveys).
- Continuous Improvement: Documented process improvements implemented in ≥ 80% of clinics annually.
First 30 Days
- Day 10 – Comprehensive Audit: Conduct a full audit of all existing clinics, covering compliance, operational deviations, and quality assurance indicators (patient safety, record accuracy, and service delivery standards). Initiate corrective action plans where gaps are identified.
- Day 20 – Blueprint & QA Framework: Draft and secure sign-off on v1 of the Rivia Clinic Blueprint, embedding quality assurance protocols (audit cycles, corrective action timelines, and patient satisfaction monitoring). Distribute to all clinic managers as the operational and QA standard.
- Day 30 – Onboarding & QA Report: Lead the first new clinic onboarding end-to-end, ensuring full integration into RiviaOS and adherence to QA standards. Deliver a compliance and quality assurance report against all KPIs, including audit scores and corrective action status.
