Job Description

Job Summary:
Our client seeks a skilled and results-driven Civil Engineer to support the planning, design,
and execution of civil and structural projects within the company’s manufacturing facilities and
infrastructure developments. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, project
management capabilities, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and supervise construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure
    including buildings, roads, drainage systems, and foundations within the plant and other
    company sites.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and cost estimates for civil works.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to approved
    drawings, specifications, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants, and internal departments to ensure
    seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections, quality assurance checks, and safety assessments during
    construction activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local building codes, environmental regulations, and
    health and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, material usage, labor reports, and
    any project changes.
  • Recommend innovative and cost-effective solutions for improving structural integrity
    and functionality.
  • Participate in feasibility studies and support budgeting for capital projects.

  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • HND Engineering/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a
    recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years practical experience in construction or manufacturing
    environments.
  • Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft
    Project.
  • Strong understanding of local building codes, materials, and engineering standards.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Membership or certification with a professional engineering body (e.g., GhIE or
    equivalent) is an advantage.
