For this reason, we are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager who will create, develop, and drive all brand plans and initiatives in line with the overarching brand strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the marketing team in data gathering
- Assist in executing brand plans and monitoring of projects with third parties
- Conduct market visits and prepare situation reports on a weekly/bi-weekly basis for team appreciation of competition activities
- Monitor, control, and report brand performance through brand health indicators (NNS, GM, MC) and key consumer KPIs (market share, awareness, trial, attribute rating, etc.), providing solutions to shortfalls
- Support the management of the NPD (New Product Development) process for the brand
- Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies and manage day-to-day brand operations
- Work together with Sales and Channel teams to select appropriate trade channels to deliver brand objectives
- Explore and exploit new opportunities for category portfolio expansion and growth
- Proactively identify sources and resource requirements to support category growth
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Sciences, or related courses from a recognized University
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the FMCG industry
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Time management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, reporting, and presentation skills
