Job Summary

MD Construction Ghana is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to join its growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative architectural designs, producing technical drawings, and ensuring projects are executed in line with client requirements, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop architectural concepts, designs, and detailed drawings
  • Prepare 2D and 3D models, renderings, and construction documentation
  • Engage clients to understand project requirements and present design proposals
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure proper implementation of designs
  • Review and approve construction materials and finishes

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • Minimum of 2–5 years’ relevant experience in architectural design
  • Proven experience working on residential and/or commercial projects

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or ArchiCAD
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and building regulations
  • Excellent design, visualization, and presentation skills
  • Strong communication and project management abilities
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification or membership with a recognized architectural body
  • Knowledge of sustainable and green building practices
