Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning and ventilation systems, including
split units, central ACs, chillers, and exhaust systems. - Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems and carry out necessary
repairs or replacements. - Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of all cooling
systems in factory and administrative areas. - Monitor and maintain refrigerant levels, clean filters, coils, and condensers regularly.
- Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Record all maintenance and repair work completed, and report any major issues to the
Maintenance Supervisor. - Assist in the procurement of spare parts and tools when necessary.
- Collaborate with the electrical and mechanical maintenance teams on cross-functional
issues affecting factory equipment and facility comfort. - Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or service requests to minimize downtime.
- Maintain proper housekeeping of tools, equipment, and work are
Qualifications & Experience:- Technical/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a
related field. - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an AC Technician, preferably in an
industrial or manufacturing environment. - Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in AC maintenance.
- Certification from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or relevant authority is an
added advantage.
