Overview

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is recruiting a Program Officer, Measurement to help strengthen data-driven decision-making across its Resettlement, Asylum, & Integration (RAI) department. This role is open to remote and aligned to New York HQ in the United States.

What You’ll Work On

1) Make high-quality data accessible

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and related SOPs
  • Lead data quality assurance and cleaning (annual statistics and performance monitoring)
  • Analyze network-wide trends and highlight areas that need attention
  • Handle ad-hoc reporting requests (internal stakeholders and funders)
  • Improve data visualization for internal and external presentations
  • Keep the department’s Indicator Selection Tool updated

2) Strengthen client feedback collection and use

  • Develop and refine guidance for collecting and using client feedback
  • Design cost-effective methods for client feedback surveys
  • Upload/batch client feedback data into the data system
  • Support analysis of feedback, including qualitative insights

3) Build data capacity across teams

  • Deliver practical trainings on data tools, reporting, and data use
  • Help teams set up consistent routines for reviewing data and improving programs
  • Support other measurement priorities as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field

Experience

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel and Power BI
  • Experience with qualitative data tools such as Dedoose, NVivo, ATLAS.ti (or similar)

Professional Skills

  • Strong writing and communication skills (able to explain data clearly)
  • Confidence working with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Adaptable, improvement-minded, and comfortable in fast-paced environments

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Non-profit experience (especially refugee resettlement or humanitarian sectors)
  • Experience with PowerApps
