Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Training Instructor to design, deliver, and evaluate electrical engineering training programs. The successful candidate will facilitate both theoretical and practical training sessions, ensuring alignment with industry standards while mentoring trainees to build strong technical competencies.
This role also involves curriculum development, client engagement, and continuous improvement of training content to reflect emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery & Curriculum Development
- Design and deliver structured training programs in electrical engineering (basic to advanced levels)
- Conduct in-house, virtual, and on-site training sessions
- Develop and update training materials including manuals, presentations, and assessments
- Ensure content aligns with industry standards, safety regulations, and technological advancements
Client Engagement & Business Development
- Support marketing and promotion of training programs
- Identify client training needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Assist in converting inquiries into confirmed training engagements
- Contribute to achieving enrollment and revenue targets through upselling and cross-selling
Practical Training & Industry Application
- Supervise hands-on training in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Facilitate workshop sessions and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Integrate real-world case studies and problem-solving exercises
Assessment & Reporting
- Conduct pre- and post-training evaluations
- Prepare detailed training reports including trainee performance and feedback
- Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and attendance logs
Mentorship & Support
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to trainees
- Support career development initiatives and professional growth
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce electrical safety standards and health regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and identify training-related hazards
- Ensure all training equipment is safe, functional, and compliant
Data Protection & Administration
- Maintain confidentiality of trainee records and training materials
- Support documentation, filing, and inventory management of training tools
- Conduct periodic stock-taking of training equipment
Quality Management
- Support Commercial Training Planning, Execution, and Asset Management processes
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, ERP systems, and quality standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in electrical engineering or technical training
- Prior teaching or instructional experience is highly desirable
- Certifications in electrical safety or training delivery are an added advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering standards, codes, and best practices
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint)
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for learners
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and training methodologies
