Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HSE Officer to support and strengthen our health, safety, and environmental (HSE) systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards across operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Deliver safety training sessions and awareness programs for staff.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company HSE requirements.
- Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or IOSH Managing Safely is required.
- Minimum of 1–3 years’ relevant experience in an HSE role, preferably within industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Excellent risk assessment and incident investigation skills.
- Strong communication and training facilitation abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
