Role Summary

The Dispatch Rider plays a vital role in supporting MSIG’s telemedicine and service delivery operations by ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of medications and health products to clients, health facilities, and outreach teams.

This role requires a high level of professionalism, reliability, and strict adherence to safety, confidentiality, and operational standards, contributing directly to client satisfaction and programme efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver medications and health products to clients, health facilities, and outreach teams as assigned.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries with proper documentation of dispatch and receipt.
• Maintain the assigned motorbike/vehicle in good working condition, ensuring roadworthiness at all times.
• Handle all medical products with care, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health standards.
• Support stock tracking and inventory management in coordination with the Telemedicine Midwife.
• Communicate effectively with clients, healthcare providers, and internal teams regarding delivery updates.
• Adhere strictly to MSIG policies, road safety regulations, and ethical standards.
• Provide additional logistics support to programme activities when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of SSSCE/WASSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a dispatch rider, courier, or in a logistics-related role is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Accra road networks and surrounding areas.
• Experience handling medical or sensitive products is an added advantage.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle/motorbike maintenance and safety practices
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Physical fitness and ability to handle field deliveries
• Problem-solving ability and flexibility to respond to urgent requests
