Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for driving the successful delivery of strategic and operational projects across Affinity. Reporting to the CEO, the role ensures that cross-functional initiatives, spanning technology, product development, operational improvements, regulatory readiness, and AI-enabled innovation are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the company’s growth priorities.

The role requires a strong understanding of modern fintech infrastructure, digital banking platforms, process flows, and operational efficiency. The Project Manager will work closely with teams across Technology, Product, Growth, Risk, Operations, and Finance to coordinate execution, remove bottlenecks, and ensure strategic initiatives translate into measurable business outcomes.

This role combines project leadership, systems thinking, and operational rigor, with a strong appreciation for how AI and automation can improve customer experience, efficiency, and decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

  • Strategic Project Delivery: Lead the planning and execution of strategic initiatives across the organization, ensuring projects align with Affinity’s growth objectives and are delivered efficiently.
  • Cross-functional Execution and Coordination: Coordinate execution across multiple teams including Technology, Product, Risk, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure seamless project implementation.
  • Process Optimisation and Operational Efficiency:  Identify opportunities to improve operational processes across the organization and lead initiatives that increase efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
  • AI and Automation Enablement: Champion the thoughtful adoption of AI tools and automation opportunities across the business to improve productivity, decision-making, and operational performance.
  • Project Governance, Risk and reporting: Establish strong project governance practices, track project risks, and provide structured reporting to the CEO and leadership team.
  • Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement: Support leaders and teams in adopting new processes, systems, and ways of working introduced through strategic projects.
  • Execution Support to the CEO: Provide execution support to the CEO by tracking key initiatives, monitoring progress against strategic priorities, and ensuring alignment across the organisation

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum formal qualification: First Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Technology Management, or Project Management will be considered an advantage
  • Preferred qualification/ Professional certification: Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM),  (PSM), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • Experience required: 5-7 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years leading cross-functional projects in a technology-driven environment
  • Project Leadership Experience: At least 3 years managing complex projects involving multiple teams
  • Fintech, Digital Banking, or Technology Environment: Prior experience in fintech, digital banking, payments, technology companies, consulting firms, or high-growth startups
  • Familiarity with technology rollouts, platform implementations, or product launches
