๐ฅ๐ผ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป:
The Country Manager, Cameroon, will lead Starksโ business development, regulatory positioning, and commercial expansion in Cameroon and the broader CEMAC region.
Operating at the intersection of treasury, banking partnerships, and cross-border financial infrastructure, the role will anchor Starksโ presence within the CEMAC region, ensuring seamless integration into regional settlement and liquidity networks.
The role is responsible for driving institutional partnerships, regulatory compliance within BEAC/COBAC frameworks, liquidity access, and revenue growth, while positioning Starks as a trusted partner for cross-border payments and treasury operations in Central Africa.
๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐:
โข Build and maintain strategic relationships with local and international banking partners.
โข Oversee treasury operations including liquidity management, transaction execution, and cash optimization.
โข Structure and negotiate banking facilities and settlement arrangements.
โข Lead engagement with financial regulators and ensure compliance with Cameroon and CEMAC financial regulations.
โข Secure and maintain required licenses, regulatory approvals, and operational permissions.
โข Monitor regulatory developments within BEAC and COBAC frameworks and implement required changes.
โข Identify and onboard corporate and institutional clients across priority sectors.
โข Develop and execute strategies to grow market presence and revenue.
โข Represent the company in high-level negotiations, partnerships, and industry engagements.
โข Lead and develop the Cameroon office in alignment with company objectives.
๐ฅ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐:
โข Minimum 10 yearsโ experience in commercial banking, investment banking, financial markets, or related sectors.
โข Strong expertise in treasury operations, liquidity management, and banking infrastructure.
โข Demonstrated track record in business development and institutional relationship management.
โข Strong understanding of Cameroonโs banking system and the CEMAC regulatory environment.
โข Entrepreneurial and strategic leader with strong execution capability.
โข Willingness to travel locally and internationally when required.
