Job Description

JOB ROLE:

To ensure workplace compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures to prevent incidents.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

05 years and above in Manufacturing Environment as HSE Personnel

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or
• Professional certification in Occupational Health and Safety i.e., NEBOSH / OSHA
• Advance training in Hazardous material handling and emergency response
• Certification in First Aid Administration

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and guide HSE Assistants and Labor Contractors.
2. Respond to HSE incidents and emergencies and prepare the preliminary incident reports.
3. Implement corrective actions regarding violations, incidents, and near misses.
4. Lead risk assessments and control high-risk activities (hot work, confined space, lifting, LOTO).
5. Implement corrective actions after incident investigation.
6. Ensure compliance with laid out HSE procedures and policies.
7. Monitor the state of open actions and follow up with owners.
8. Oversee environmental monitoring activities.
9. Coordinate emergency preparedness and fire drills.
10. Promote initiatives to enhance the HSE culture among all factory personnel.
11. Implement feedback mechanisms to increase employee engagement in HSE.
