Role Summary

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving route-based sales, expanding retail distribution, and increasing repeat demand for VOKIA food products across assigned territories within the Greater Accra Region. The role requires proactive engagement with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors to ensure product availability, visibility, and sustained sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Route-Based Sales Execution

  • Conduct daily route selling to provision shops, open markets, mini-marts, wholesalers, and food vendors.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for assigned products (SKUs).
  • Ensure consistent product availability and strong in-store visibility across retail outlets.
  • Monitor stock levels at customer outlets and proactively prevent stock-outs.

2. Outlet & Distributor Expansion

  • Identify and onboard new retail outlets within the assigned territory on a regular basis.
  • Recruit and support sub-distributors, agents, and bulk buyers to strengthen distribution networks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key wholesalers and market leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with recommended pricing and proper product handling practices.

3. Market Activation & Brand Visibility

  • Support product sampling campaigns, promotional activities, and market activations.
  • Educate retailers and consumers on product benefits and proper usage.
  • Gather and report market intelligence, including competitor pricing, promotions, and product performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in sales, preferably within the FMCG sector.
