Procurement Lead – SMT

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to lead our procurement function and ensure the timely, cost-effective, transparent, and compliant sourcing of goods, services, equipment, and works.

Key responsibilities include:
Developing and managing procurement plans and processes
Leading sourcing, RFQs, tenders, negotiations, and purchasing
Managing supplier and contractor relationships and performance
Driving cost savings and commercial value
Coordinating procurement with projects, Finance, Stores, and Logistics
Ensuring strong procurement controls, compliance, ethics, and risk management
Leading procurement reporting and team performance

Requirements:
🎓 Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
💼 Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role
🏗️ Experience in construction, engineering, mining, manufacturing, oil & gas, infrastructure, or other project-based environments is preferred
📋 Professional procurement qualification/membership is an advantage
