Job Description
The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the Council’s human resource management functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective human resource policies, procedures, and systems.
- Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee placement processes.
- Coordinate employee performance management and appraisal activities.
- Support staff development, training, and capacity-building initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, disciplinary matters, and workplace issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, regulations, and organisational policies.
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management.
- Advise management on HR-related matters and organisational development.
- Promote a positive, professional, and productive workplace culture.
Expected Profile
Applicants should have appropriate academic and professional qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field, together with relevant experience in HR management.
