About the Role
The Employee will serve as an Accountant and may take on additional or different positions as mutually agreed upon by the Parties from time to time. This is a dynamic opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional ready to contribute to a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate bookkeeping and general ledger management
- Preparing and filing statutory taxes in compliance with GRA and SSNIT regulations
- Generating financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting for business planning
- Managing financial operations using Built Accounting software
- Identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes
- Performing other accounting, tax, and financial reporting tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus
- Membership of a recognized professional accounting body
