Job Description

Key Responsibilities 

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
  2. Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
  3. Carry out risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
  4. Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and international HSE standards.
  5. Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training for employees and contractors.
  6. Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports.
  7. Maintain HSE records, statistics, permits, and documentation.
  8. Monitor the use and condition of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure proper usage.
  9. Promote a positive safety culture and encourage employee participation in safety programs.
  10. Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including drills, first aid, and fire safety measures.
  11. Monitor environmental aspects such as waste management, pollution prevention, and resource conservation.
  12. Review and approve work permits for high-risk activities such as work at height, hot work, lifting operations, and confined space entry.
  13. Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and contractors on HSE matters.
  14. Prepare and submit HSE reports to management and clients.
  15. Support management in achieving organizational HSE objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
