Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Human Resource Administration
- Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding, employee orientation, and offboarding processes.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Coordinate recruitment and selection activities.
- Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Facilitate interviews, candidate assessments, and onboarding of successful applicants.
Employee Relations
- Promote positive employee relations and workplace harmony.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Support grievance handling and disciplinary processes where required.
Performance & Learning
- Assist in coordinating performance management processes.
- Identify employee development needs and support learning and training initiatives.
- Promote employee engagement and continuous improvement programmes.
HR Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Ghana Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651) and other applicable employment legislation.
- Support compliance with SSNIT regulations and statutory employment requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
HR Reporting
- Prepare periodic HR reports and employee data for management decision-making.
- Maintain HR metrics and personnel records.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Human Resource Management
- Business Administration
- Or any related discipline.
Professional HR certifications such as CIHRM, SHRM, CIPD, or HRCI will be an added advantage.
Experience
- A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant Human Resources experience.
- Previous experience within the Real Estate or Construction industry will be considered a strong advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
The ideal candidate should possess:
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of the Ghana Labour Act (Act 651).
- Good understanding of SSNIT regulations and statutory HR compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Practical experience using HRMS/HRIS software.
- Knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
