As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-oriented professional to join our team as a Sales Manager to lead our operations in Kumasi.
Position Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and expanding the company’s sales operations within the Kumasi market. The successful candidate will oversee team recruitment, training, performance management, customer acquisition, and business development initiatives while ensuring the achievement of organizational sales objectives.
This role requires a strategic leader with strong people management skills, excellent business acumen, and a passion for driving performance and delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Business Development
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
- Drive customer acquisition and market penetration initiatives.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Team Management & Performance
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise a high-performing sales team.
- Establish clear performance objectives and monitor team productivity.
- Conduct regular coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Motivate and inspire team members to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Operations & Reporting
- Monitor sales activities and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Prepare and present periodic sales performance reports and business analyses.
- Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of sales activities and customer interactions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in sales management, team leadership, or business development.
- Experience within the banking or financial services sector will be a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and manage successful sales teams.
