We are a growing accounting firm committed to providing exceptional financial and advisory services to our clients. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our people operations and ensure effective administrative and compliance processes.
Position Summary
The Human Resources Assistant will provide support across payroll administration, employee relations, HR compliance, and general office administration. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
* Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll.
* Maintain accurate employee records and payroll information.
* Coordinate leave records and attendance data for payroll purposes.
* Respond to employee queries relating to payroll and benefits.
Employee Relations
* Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
* Address routine employee inquiries and escalate issues where necessary.
* Assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees.
* Maintain employee files and ensure confidentiality of personnel information.
Compliance and HR Administration
* Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and statutory requirements.
* Assist in maintaining HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
* Support performance management and disciplinary processes when required.
* Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate records.
General Administrative Support
* Manage filing systems and maintain office records.
* Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and employee events.
* Handle correspondence and other routine administrative errands.
* Provide support to management and other departments as required.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role.
* Familiarity with payroll processes and employment legislation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
