Job Description
The Associate Programs Manager will support the design, coordination, and delivery of program activities across Densu Associates Ghana’s Program, with a strong focus on providing entrepreneurship training and support to program participants You will be engaged in implementing activities, conducting trainings, building the capacity of program participants, leading the coordination of district level staff and program activities and developing reports for external audiences. , The role also includes responsibility on safeguarding program participants and ensuring safeguarding standards are upheld across all program activities. You will work closely with program team members to ensure high-quality implementation, effective stakeholder engagement, and strong documentation of learning and impact. This position lies within the Program Management Team and reports to the Programs Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the planning, delivery, and monitoring of programs according to the workplans
• Coordinate training and stakeholder engagement for program delivery.
• Manage day-to-day implementation of activities and ensure alignment with program goals, timelines, budgets, and donor requirements
• Lead the facilitation of entrepreneurship training, mentorship training, coaching sessions, workshops, and peer-to-peer learning activities.
• Contribute to the development of curriculum and, training materials tools for business development, innovation, and enterprise growth.
• Provide direct support to program participants, including youth and women engagements activities
• Lead and coordinate Densu Associates Entrepreneurs Network activities
• Ensure compliance with our safeguarding policy across the programs and support with policy reviews
• Serve as Programs Team safeguarding focal point, promoting safe, inclusive, and accountable programming.
• Liaise with implementing partners, participants, community actors, and donors to support strong collaboration
• Represent Densu Associates in meetings, workshops, and program-related forums when required
• Prepare high-quality reports, documentation and program case studies for internal and external audiences
• Support data collection, tracking, and analysis for project reporting and learning.
• Ensure all activities implemented are in compliance with the Densu Associates’ internal policies
• Contribute to program learning, reflection sessions, and documentation of emerging insights
• Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager.
Qualification and Skills
Essential
• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in development studies, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Social Sciences, or related fields
• At least 5 years of experience in program management, entrepreneurship support, or development programming at management level.
• Demonstrated experience delivering or supporting entrepreneurial training, business development programs, or enterprise coaching.
• Strong facilitation skills with proven experience engaging youth, women, and diverse groups.
• Working knowledge of safeguarding policies, child protection, and safe programming principles.
• Strong project coordination, planning, and stakeholder management abilities
• Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
• Experience in implementing social innovation programs, incubators/accelerators, or enterprise development initiatives.
• Experience developing training curriculums, conducting training or business diagnostics and assessments.
• Bilingual, French and English
• Knowledge of gender equality, social inclusion, and youth empowerment approaches
• Passion for social impact, entrepreneurship, and community-driven development
